For expenses of maintenance and operation
On or before June 15, 1925, the motion picture commission shall file with the governor, the chairman of the senate finance committee and the chairman of the assembly ways and means committee a tentative segregation of the amount hereby appropriated. Before any moneys shall be paid out of this fund, such segregation shall have their approval and no change shall be made in this tentative segregation during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1925, without their approval.

Agent, assistant, assistant steam engineer, clerk, inspector, library assistant, library organizer, library section head, mason, secretary-stenographer, stenographer, sublibrarian, or technical assistant, not to exceed 33 at not to exceed $1,800 each
Assistant, assistant steam engineer, carpenter, clerk, custodian of museum collections, electrician, elevator repairman, ele- vatorman, general mechanical assistant, indexer, library assistant, library section head, messenger, painter, painter's helper, roofer, secretary-stenographer, shipper, stenographer, sublibrarian, technical assistant, or telephone operator, not to exceed 81 at not to exceed $1,500 each... Assistant, clerk, laborer (not to exceed 19); library assistant, orderly, porter (not to exceed 11), secretary-stenographer, stenographer, telephone operator, typewriter copyist, or watch- man, not to exceed 123 at not to exceed $1,200 each.. Cleaner (not to exceed 30), clerk, clerk-statistician, junior clerk, matron, page, stenographer, or typewriter copyist, not to exceed 124 at not to exceed $900 each.. For temporary and expert services throughout the department, including stenographers, clerks, laborers, examiners, proctors, honorariums, services of professional boards, library school instructors, summer library school, labor on Indian reserva- tions, and Americanization
For such additional compensation to members of department staff as may be necessary to keep the museum and library open on Sundays

District superintendents, 208 at $2,400... The commissioner of education is authorized to set aside for teachers' salaries on the several Indian reservations from the appropriation for the support of common schools in lieu of the apportionment provided for by law, the sum of $36,900, as follows: one at $1,800; two at $1,500; one at $1,400; two at $1,300; twenty-two at $950; eight at $900. Fuel, light, power and water. Equipment and supplies, of which at least $55,000 shall be expended for the purchase of books, magazines, periodicals and binding for the state library...
Officers and employees (no more than $4.000 of which may be used for traveling outside the state).
State aid for blind and deaf pupils in certain institutions to be paid for the purposes and in the manner provided by section 976 of the education law..
Support and instruction of pupils at the New York Institute for the Education of the Blind, at $510 each..
Support and instruction of pupils at institutions for the blind, deaf, deaf mutes and deaf and dumb, at $550 each.. Care of blind children at the International Sunshine Society, at $1.50 per day each..

Repairs and alterations to buildings, repairs and replacements of building equipment, including school buildings on Indian reservations .
For the expense of prosecuting violations of the several laws regulating the practice of the professions, to be paid from fines and penalties collected because of such violations and for other contingencies.
For purchase and distribution of court reports to other libraries, by the state library, in return for court reports of other states
