Página 3 - The objects of the association shall be : 1. The amelioration of the condition of prisoners whether detained for trial, or finally convicted, or as witnesses. 2. The improvement of prison discipline and the government of prisons, whether for cities, counties or states. 3. For the support and encouragement of reformed convicts after their discharge by affording them the means of obtaining an honest livelihood, and sustaining them in their efforts at reform.
Página 1 - The executive committee shall meet once in each month, and keep regular minutes of their proceedings. They shall have a general superintendence and direction of the affairs of the society, and shall annually report to the society all their proceedings, and such other matters as shall be likely to advance the ends of the association. ARTICLE V.
