OF ISRAEL.
GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,

look in mercy, we beseech Thee, upon the tribes of Israel, Thy chosen people; whom Thou hast, according to Thy threatened judgments, dispersed among the nations of the earth. Be pleased to take the veil from their hearts, and bring them to the knowledge of Jesus as their Messiah. Hasten the glorious time when He Who scattered Israel shall gather him, and Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit; and when, from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Thy Name shall be great among the Gentiles. Grant this for Thy dear Son's sake, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O MERCIFUL God, Who by Thy well-

beloved Son hast given commandment to Thy servants to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature ; Hear us, we beseech Thee, as now we call upon Thee in behalf of those our brethren who, in obedience to Thy word, have given themselves to the work and office of Missionaries, and are gone fort)

to make known Thy truth in the dark
places of the earth. Let Thy Fatherly
hand be over them, protecting them from
the many dangers to which they are exposed;
and do Thou work with them by the mighty
