SURVIVING MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL

COUNCIL,

CORRECTED TO 30TH JUNE, 1927.

Since 22nd August, 1881, registration in the General Council has been a necessary preliminary to graduation. Previous to that date, registration was optional.

Inclusion in this List does not imply the possession of the Parliamentary franchise, which meantime is not enjoyed by

--

i. Women graduates under the age of 30. ii. Graduates who are not British subjects. iii. Lunatics.

Voting papers are sent only to voters resident within the United Kingdom, or the Channel Islands, unless on special application addressed in writing to the Registrar.

Notices of Meetings of General Council are, meantime, sent only to members resident within the Counties of Aberdeen, Banff, Kincardine, Moray, Nairu, Inverness, Ross and Cromarty, Sutherland, Caithness, Orkney and Shetland, being the counties assigned to the University of Aberdeen by Act of Parliament, 24 and 25 Vict., cap. 107.

Information as to decease of members of Council, and in correction of designations or addresses which have become obsolete, should be at once communicated to The Registrar, in order to be made available in revising the next Register.
