But soon Thy bright eternal Day
That darkness shall dispel.
This Day so fair and bright;
With its celestial light !
From earthly bonds set free,
Their endless joy shall be.
The present light improve,

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
Morniug. “I will sing of Thy power : yea I will sing aloud of Thy mercy in the morning.”—Ps. lix. 16. 105 AWAKE, my soul, and with the sun
Thy daily stage of duty run;
To pay thy morning sacrifice.
And live this day as if the last ;
For the Great Day thyself prepare.
Keep conscience as the noon-day clear;
4. Wake, and lift up thyself, my heart,
And with the angels bear thy part,
High prai:e to the eternal King !
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
“ His compassions fail not-are new every morning."Lam. iii. 22, 23.
TIMELY happy, timely wise,
Hearts, that with rising morn arise ; Eyes, that the beam celestial view,
Which evermore makes all things new.
Our wak’ning and uprising prove;
Restored to life, and power, and thought. 3. New mercies, each returning day,
Hover around us while we pray;
New thoughts of God, new hopes of heaven. 4. O Prince of Peace, in Thy dear love,
Prepare us for Thy rest above,
To live more nearly as we pray.

SPIRIT, Fount of holy love,
Of grace the Source divine,
And in our spirits shine.
The Father and the Son ;
That we may all be one.
To us Thy light be given,
And keep the way to heaven. Amen.
Joyful Light of the Holy Glory of the Ever
lasting i'ather, Which is in Heaven, Holy and Blessed,- Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are come unto the going down of the and at eventide we have seen Light: Therefore we give thanks and glory, To the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit of God.
Worthy art Thou at all times to be praised by holy voices, Son of God, That givest Life: Therefore doth the world glorify Thee. Amen.
