seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Jove him. Luke xxiii. 43. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto you, To-day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Rev. xix. 5. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and yo that foar him, both small and great. Matt. viii. 11. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. Rev. v. 8, 9. dud when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, laaving every one of them harps, and golden vials, full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
Rom. ii. 6. Who will render to every man according to his deeds. 2 Cor. ix. 6. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Gal. vi. 7,8. Be not deceived ; God is not mocked ; for whatsnever a man soweth, that shall he also reup. For be that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption ; but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 1 Cor. iii. 14, 15. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Cor. xv. 40, 41. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial ; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun; and another glory of the moon ; and another glory of the stars : for one star differeth from another star in glory. John xiv. 2. In my father's house are many mansions ; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Rev. xiv. 13. And I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from henceforth : Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. And Jesus said unto them, Verlly I say unto you, that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon
twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Rev. xxi. 14. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
2 Thes. i. 7, 8, 9. And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. Matt. xxv. 41. 46. Then shall he say also unto them ou his left hand, Depart ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal, Matt. xiij. 40-42. As thejefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of Man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire ; there shull be wailing and gnashing of teeth, Deut, iv. 24. For
the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Isai. xxxiii. 14. The sinners in Zion are afraid ; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isai. Ixvi. 14, 16. 24. And when ye see this your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb ; and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched ; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Psal. ix, 17. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Matt. v. 22. But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with bis brother without a cause, shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; but whosoever shall
say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell-fire. Matt. xxiii. 29. 33. Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hy. pocrites ! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how shall ye escape the damnation of hell? Mark ix. 43. 47, 48. And if thine hand offend thce, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. And if thine eye offend thee pluck it out; it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell. fire; where their worm dieth not, and their fire is not quenched. Luke xvi. 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes being in torments, and seeth Abrabam afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 2 Thess. ii. 8. And then shall that wicked be revealed whom the Lord shali consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Rev. xiy. 9, 10, 11. And the third
angel followed them, saying, with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in the forehead, or in his band, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of bis indiguation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of his holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast, and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of bis name. Heb. i. 1. Therefore we ought to give the more turnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we let them slip. Rom. ii. 3—10. Aud thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them that do such things, and doest the same, that thou shall escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of bis goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy bardness and impenitent heart, treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; who will render to every man according to his deeds ; to them who by patient continuance in welldoing seek for glory and honour, and immortality, eternal life : but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, upon the Jew first, and also upon the Gentile.
Mark xvi. 15, 16. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth und is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not, shall be damned. Deut. xxx. 15, 19. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil : I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing;
therefore choose life, that both thou, and thy seed may live. John vi. 40. 44, 45. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. And I will raise him up at the last day. Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, bath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the Jast day. Heb. vii. 25—27. Wherefore he is able also 10 save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him ; secing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an High Priest becanje us, who is holy, harmless, una defiled, and separate from sinners, and made bigber than the heavens ; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once when he offered up himself. Mark x. 17–21. And when he was gone forth in the way, there came one running, and kneeling to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may have eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and thy mother.
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I kept from my youth up. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take
cross, and follow me. Luke x. 25—28. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do, to inherit eternal life? And he said unto him What is written in the law? How readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
