Abiding in the Vine

Life seems to be out of control. We hurry into our day to face an amazing number of activities that vie for our attention. We whiz through each day, barely giving God even a perfunctory request to bless what we have already planned to do. To be sure, there are many things that entice our focus away from Christ. But those things will pass away-perhaps sooner than we think! God has called us to deeper relationship with Him-intimacy! And intimacy means that we draw close to Him. We meet with Him daily, follow His lead. We "Abide in the Vine!" Does your soul long for God? He put that longing there to draw you near to Him.
