Large 4to, green crushed levant morocco extra, panelled sides, gilt edges, by F. Bedford.

This work consists of 8 leaves, colored by Blake. The leaf preced ing the title, printed in green Thei's Motto, Does the Eagle know what is in the pit? Or wilt thou go ask the Mole Can Wisdom be put in a silver rod? Or Love in a golden bowl? Is very often missing. At the top of this leaf is written F. T. Pal grave presumably in Palgrave's autograph. This copy measures 12 by 996 inches. A much narrower copy (1255 by described as with the green printings shewing the earliest state, sold at Sotheby's last year for £67.
