Three money prizes (value £3 each or thereby) are offered annually by the Synod of Aberdeen, and are awarded on the result of examinations conducted by a Committee of the Synod. They are open for competition to Divinity Students of the University of Aberdeen connected with the Church of Scotland, who are members of the Classes of Systematic Theology, Church History, and Biblical Criticism, respectively.

Class Entrance Examination.

The Examination of students entering the Senior Hebrew Class will be held on Thursday, 11th October, 1917, at 9 A.M. For subjects see under Synopsis of Hebrew Class in Calendar.

THE THEOLOGICAL LIBRARY.

The Theological Library, founded in 1700, contains about 3500 volumes. It is placed in the General University Library, but Students of Divinity, who are readers in the General Library under Ordinance No. 64, have the exclusive privilege of borrowing books from the Theological Library, which books may be retained during the summer session.

FACULTY OF LAW.

The Winter Session, 1917-1918, commences on Wednesday, 17th October, 1917, and ends on Friday, 15th March, 1918.

The Summer Session of 1918 commences on Tuesday, 16th April, and ends on Friday, 21st June.

Graduation in Law.

Two Degrees in Law are conferred, after examination, by the University, viz., Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Law (B.L.).
