I want to know where you got that information on the slave. Mainly because of 70 years of searching the Slocombe, Slocumb/Slocum families I have never once come across that. Ebenezer and Esther Corey Slocum where too busy at that time trying to stay alive from the guys that killed his father and abused his mother. Then they went to NY go on the Union with some of the children and sailed for Saint John, New Brunswick.
That was during the time of the Rev. War 1773 to 1783 and they were Loyalists
Nobody says anything about Slocum Loyalists but I have them all.
