This is a table of natural sines, cosines, tangents, and we tangents to every degree and minute of the quadrant. It will be found useful in finding the direct course from the beginning to the end of a traverse, and in many other computations of Navigation and Trigonometry in which it may be inconvenient to employ logarithms. Ample illus tration of the advantage of this table is given in the Navigation and Nautical Astronomy which accompanies the present volume.
