Father, again in Jesus' name we meet

Father of heaven, whose love profound
Father of mercies, in thy word.
Father of mercies, let our songs
Father, to Thee our souls we lift
Father, whate'er of earthly bliss
Forgive, O Lord, our wanderings past
From all that dwell below the skies
From Greenland's icy mountains

Glorious things of Thee are spoken
Glory be to God on high

Glory to Thee, my God, this night
God of love, before Thee now
God of our hope, to Thee we bow

How precious is the book divine

In token that thou shalt not fear
It is finished, shall we raise

Hymn

Jerusalem, Jerusalem
Jerusalem, my happy home
Jesus Christ is risen to-day
Jesus lives! no longer now
Jesus, our strength and hope
Jesus, refuge of my soul

Jesus shall reign where'er the sun
Jesus, Thou sovereign Lord of all
Jesus, we lift our souls to Thee
Jesus, where'er thy people meet

Lamb of God, whose dying love
Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us
Let children to their God draw near
Life nor death shall us dissever
Light of them that sit in darkness
Lo, He comes with clouds descending
Lord, dismiss us with thy blessing
Lord of Hosts to Thee we raise
Lord of mercy and of might
Lord of the Church, we humbly pray
Lord, of thy mercy, hear our cry
Lord, shall thy children come to Thee
Lord that madest earth and heaven
Lord, when we bend before thy throne
Love divine, all love excelling

May the grace of Christ our Saviour
My blessed Saviour is thy love
My God and is thy table spread

New every morning is the love.
Now let the Christian's hope abound
Now may He who from the dead
Now to Him who loved us, gave us

1 WHY those fears? behold 'tis Jesus
Holds the helm, and guides the ship:
Spread the sail, and catch the breezes
Sent to waft us through the deep,
To the regions

Where the mourners cease to weep.

2 Though the shore we hope to land on
Only by report is known,
Yet we freely all abandon,
Led by that report alone;
And with Jesus

Through the trackless deep move on.

3 0 what pleasures there await us!

There the tempests cease to roar; There it is that those who hate us Shall molest our peace no more: Trouble ceases

On that tranquil happy shore.

1 GOD moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;

He plants his footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.

C M.

2 Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill,

He treasures up his bright designs,
And works his sovereign will.

3 Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.

4 His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;

The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

5 Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain ;
God is his own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

1 BRIGHTEST and best of the sons of the morning, Dawn on our darkness and lend us thine aid:

Star of the East, the horizon adorning, Guide where our infant Redeemer is laid.

2 Cold in his cradle the dew-drops are shining, Low lies his bed with the beasts of the stall; Angels adore Him, in slumber recliningMaker, and Monarch, and Saviour of all.

3 Say, shall we yield Him, in costly devotion,
Odours of Edom, and offerings divine,
Gems of the mountain, and pearls of the ocean,
Myrrh from the forest, and gold from the mine?

4 Vainly we offer each ample oblation,

Vainly with gold would his favour secure ; Richer by far is the heart's adoration, Dearer to God are the prayers of the poor.

5 Brightest and best of the sons of the morning,
Dawn on our darkness and lend us thine aid;
Star of the East, the horizon adorning
Guide where our infant Redeemer is laid.

1 REJOICE, the Lord is King;
Your Lord and King adore :
His glorious conquest sing,

And triumph evermore.

P.M.

Lift up your heart, lift up your voice,
Rejoice; in Christ your King, rejoice.
