The President: The report will be referred to an auditing committee composed of Messrs. Hyland P. Stewart, W. Thomas Kemp, and J. Craig McLanahan.

The President: The next in order is the report of the Executive Council.

REPORT OF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

The Executive Council has held three meetings during the year, and under its direction the Secretary prepared for publication and issued the proceedings for the 1911 annual session.

There has been one resignation during the year, and the following additions:

William H. Maltbie, Jacob S. New and E. D. Stinchcomb, of Baltimore City; William F. Johnson, Alexander M. Jackson, George W. Lilly and Samuel R. Douglas, of Worcester County; and Reuben D. Rogers, of Ellicott City.

JAMES W. CHAPMAN, JR., Secretary. Thomas Foley Hiskey: I move the report be accepted.

The motion was duly seconded, and on the vote being taken the report was declared accepted.

The President: The next business is the report of the Committee on Laws, of which Mr. Arthur W. Machen, Jr., is Chairman.

Mr. Arthur W. Machen, Jr.: I believe the Secretary has some printed copies of this report; I have none at hand.

W. Thomas Kemp: I move that we now adjourn until 3 o'clock this afternoon.

Philemon E. Tuck: I second the motion.

The question was put and on vote being taken it was decided in the affirmative and the Association accordingly adjourned until 3 o'clock P. M.

AFTERNOON SESSION

Pursuant to adjournment the Maryland State Bar Association met at 3 o'clock P. M., the meeting being called to order by the President.

The President: The first business is the report of the Committee on Laws.
