4 Revive Thy dying Churches, Lord,
And bid our drooping graces live ;
A Saviour's blood alone can give.
ESUS invites His saints
To meet around His board ;
Communion with their Lord.
2 Here we survey that love
And triumphed in His death. 3 Here let our powers unite
His glorious Name to raise;
And every voice be praise.
READ of the world, in mercy
And in whose death our sins are dead !
Look on the tears by sinners shed,
That by Thy grace our souls are fed
BREAD hof heaven ! on Thee we feed,
1 READ of heaven ! on Thee we feed,
With this true and living bread!
This blest cup of sacrifice:
To Thy Cross we look and live.
Day by day Thy strength afford!
1 ACCORDING to Thy gracious word,
This will I do, my dying Lord,
I will remember Thee.
My bread from heaven shall be ;
And thus remember Thee.
And rest on Calvary,
I must remember Thee.
And thought and memory flee,
Then, Lord, remember me!
GOD, unseen yet ever near,
And thus, inspired with holy fear,
Before Thine altar kneel !
The blessings of Thy love,
The manna from above !
To feast on heavenly food;
Our drink, His precious Blood.
For we, O God, are Thine ;
Renewed with strength divine.
Bestow Thy gifts of heavenly grace ;
Find in each heart a fruitful place.
Their vow and promise to renew,
Bid each his heart and life review.
3 The Cross that marked their infant brow,
May it a faithful emblem prove,
And walk as children of Thy love! 4 Now in the strength of power divine,
O may they all, with glad accord,
And join themselves to Christ the Lord ! 5 Thy sons and daughters may they be,
Confirmed and strengthened by Thy grace, And safe through life preserved by Thee,
In heaven behold Thee face to face. 69 1 ORD, shall Thy children come to Thee ?
A boon of love divine we seek;
May come themselves to Thee to-day. 2 Lord, shall we come, and come again ?
Oft as we see Thy table spread,
That they may come and find Thee there. 3 Loid, shall we come? not thus alone
At holy times, or solemn rite ?
hour till life be flown,
4 Lord, shall we come, come yet again ?
Thy children ask one blessing more ;
Doth his successive journeys run ;
Till moons shall wax and wane no more. 2 To Him shall endless prayer be made,
And princes throng to crown His head;
With every morning sacrifice.
Dwell on His love with sweetest song ;
Their early blessings on His Name.
The prisoner leaps to loose his chains,
And all the sons of want are blest. 5 Let every creature rise and bring
Peculiar honours to our King ;
