Our triumphant holiday ! Hallelujah! Who did once upon the Cross,

Sons of men,
Raise your joys and triumphs high;
Sing, ye heavens, and earth, reply !
Christ hath burst the gates of hell ;

Where, o death, is now thy sting ?
4 Soar we now where Christ hath led,
Following our exalted Head;
