2 Among the saints that fill Thine house,
My offerings shall be paid:

There shall my zeal perform the vows
My soul in anguish made.

3 How happy all Thy servants are!
How great Thy grace to me!

My life, which Thou hast made Thy care,
Lord, I devote to Thee.

4 Here in Thy courts I leave my vow,
And Thy rich grace record;

Witness, ye saints, who hear me now,
If I forsake the Lord.

HY Name, Almighty Lord,

TShall
THY

Shall sound through distant lands:
Great is Thy grace, and sure Thy word;

Thy truth for ever stands.

2 Far be Thine honour spread,
And long Thy praise endure,
Till morning light and evening shade
Shall be exchanged no more.

3 Ye angels round the throne,

And saints that dwell below,
Worship the Father, praise the Son,
And bless the Spirit too!

Version 2.

ROM all that dwell below the skies,
Let the Creator's praise arise!

Let the Redeemer's Name be sung
Through every land, by every tongue.

2 Eternal are Thy mercies, Lord; Eternal truth attends Thy word:

Thy praise shall sound from shore to shore,
Till suns shall rise and set no more.

BEHOLD the sure Foundation-stone

Which God in Sion lays,

To build our heavenly hopes upon,
And His eternal praise.

2 Chosen of God, to sinners dear,
And saints adore the Name;

They trust their whole salvation there,
Nor shall they suffer shame.

3 What though the gates of hell withstood,
Yet must this building rise:
"Tis Thine own work, Almighty God,
And wondrous in our eyes.

Part 1.

OW blest are they who always keep

H The pure and perfect way,

Who never from the sacred paths

Of God's commandments stray.

2 How blest, who to His righteous laws
Have still obedient been,

And have with fervent humble zeal
His favour sought to win.

3 O then that Thy most holy will
Might o'er my ways preside;
And I the course of all my life
By Thy direction guide!

LORD, I have made Thy word my choice,
My lasting heritage:

There shall my noblest

powers rejoice,
There my best thoughts engage.

2 'Tis a broad land of wealth unknown,
Where springs of life arise,
Seeds of immortal bliss are sown,
And hidden glory lies.

3 The best relief that mourners have,
It makes our sorrows blest;
Our fairest hope beyond the grave,
And our eternal rest.

THAT the Lord would guide my ways,
To keep His statutes still!

O that my God would grant me grace
To know and do His will!

2 Lord, send Thy Spirit down to write
Thy law upon my heart;
Nor let my tongue indulge deceit,
Nor act the liar's part.

3 From vanity turn off mine eyes;
Let no corrupt design,

Nor covetous desire arise

Within this soul of mine.

4 Make me to walk in Thy commands,
"Tis a delightful road;

Nor let my head, or heart, or hands,
Offend against my God.

Part 4.

[NSTRUCT me in Thy statutes, Lord,

Thy righteous paths display;
And I from them, through all my life,

Will never go astray.

2 If Thou true wisdom from above
Wilt graciously impart,
To keep Thy perfect laws I will
Devote my zealous heart.

3 Direct me in the sacred ways
To which Thy precepts lead:
Because my chief delight has been
Thy righteous paths to tread.

4 From those vain objects turn mine eyes,
Which this false world displays;

121

But give me lively power and strength
To keep Thy righteous ways.

[P to the hills I lift mine eyes,
the eternal hills beyond the skies;
Thence all her help my soul derives;
There my Almighty refuge lives.

2 He lives, the everlasting God,

That built the world, that spread the flood;
The heavens with all their hosts He made,
And the dark regions of the dead.

3 He guides our feet, He guards our way,
His morning smiles bless all the day;
He spreads the evening veil, and keeps
The silent hours, while Israel sleeps.

4 Israel, a name divinely blest,
May rise secure, securely rest;
Thy Holy Guardian's wakeful eyes
Admit no slumber nor surprise.

5 Should earth and hell with malice burn,
Still thou shalt go, and still return
Safe in the Lord; His heavenly care
Defends thy life from every snare.

OW did my heart rejoice to hear
My friends devoutly say,

"In Sion let us all appear,

And keep the solemn day!"

2 I love her gates, I love the road;
The Church adorned with grace,
Stands like a palace built for God,
To shew His milder face.

3 Peace be within this sacred place,
And joy a constant guest!
With holy gifts and heavenly grace
Be her attendants blest!

4 My soul shall pray for Sion still
While life or breath remains;

There my best friends, my kindred dwell,

To worship at His throne.

ITH joy we hail the sacred day
Which God has called His own;
