ANOTHER volume of the MILLENNIAL STAR is now [finished.
has been to make this like its predecessors a repository of interesting and valuable knowledge. We recommend the discourses of the leading men of the Church to the readers' careful study; they are full of wise suggestions, timely warnings, and loving exhortations; he who hungers after righteousness will find in them food for his soul. The correspondence, original articles, and selected matter give a concise account of the condition and progress of the work of the Lord, and show that He has wonderfully blessed His people and the labors of His servants. The Star of Bethlehem betokened the first coming of the Lord; those who followed its guiding rays have been honored with the title: The mission of the MILLENNIAL STAR is to direct the minds of men to the second coming of the Lord, which is near at
hand; those whom it shall lead to prepare for that glorious event will also be classed among the wise.
