This is an incredible collection of poems by Irish critic and poet Edward Dowden. Dowden was an accomplished personality who had an outstanding career, becoming president of the Philosophical Society. He won the vice-chancellor's prize for English verse and prose. Dowden was noted for his critical work on Shakespeare.
