appears that the same was framed by a convention which
assembled at Harrisburg, May 2, 1837; it adjourned in Decem-
ber to Philadelphia, where it completed its labors, Feb. 22, 1838.

A copy of this constitution is contained in United States Charters
and Constitutions, Part II, p. 1570, where it appears that

this constitution was framed by a convention which met at Harrisburg, Nov. 13, 1872, and adjourned to Philadelphia where it concluded its labors, Nov. 3, 1873." Then adjourned to Harrisburg, where it adjourned sine die. It was submitted to the qualified electors and ratified, Dec. 16, 1873.
