Mr Speaker-I am directed by the Council to inform the House that it has adopted H. M. No. 7, for the relief of Michael McKenna;

That it has defeated H. B. No. 132, an Act authorizing juries in Justice Courts to fix the punishment in Criminal cases in conviction by jury;

That it has defeated H. M. No. 1o, concerning the boundary between Arizona and Utah.

The Speaker announced that he had signed the certificate of passage of C. B. No, 56 over the objections of the Governor. Mr. Hinton presented the following Standing Committee report:

Also, H. B. No. 161, a bill for an Act to amend Paragraph 1984, 1985, and 1986: Revised Statutes, and instruct me to

report the same back to the House and recommend its passage;

Also, H. B. No. 164, a bill for an Act concerning certain estray animais, and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend its passage;

Also, H. B. No. 171, a bill for an Act for the relief of J. A. McRae, and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend that it be indefinitely postponed;

Also, H. B. No. 176, a bill for an Act to amend Title 20, Chapter 7, Paragraph 1530, Item 15, Revised Statutes, and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend that it do not pass;

Also, H. B. No. 177, a bill for an Act authorizing the printing of Session Laws, and instruct me to report the same back to the House without recommendation;

Also, H. B. No 128, a bill for an Act in relation to carrying concealed weapons, have made certain amendments thereto and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend its passage as amended;

Also, H. B. No. 185, a bill for an Act to prevent the waste of water, and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend its passage;

Also, H. B. No. 144, a bill for an Act to authorize Boards of Supervisors to compromise for the payment of delinquent taxes, have made certain amendments thereto and instruct me to report the same back to the House and recommend its passage as amended;

Also, H. B. No. 146, a bill for an Act fixing the fees of County Recorders and Registering Officers, and instruct me to report the same back to the House without recommendation. M. R. MOORE,

Mr. Speaker-I am directed by the Council to inform the House that it has defeated H. B. No. 96 an Act relating to the use of highways;

That it has passed H. B. No. 116, a bill for an Act to establish sign boards showing the location of water near roads and trails;

That it has defeated H. B. No, 103, an Act to reduce expenses and regulate the payment of Territorial officers;

That it has passed C. B. No. 70, an Act relating to artesian wells, and the appropriation of water therefrom.
