Journal of convention (1802) begun at Chillicothe, Ohio Territory, Nov. 1, 1802. [Called the] "First Constitutional Convention.' [Contained in Ohio exec. doc. 1876, Part II, p. 459.]

Constitution; prefixed to laws of 3d assembly, 1st session, Dec. 3, 1804.

A copy of this constitution is contained in United States Charters and Constitutions, Part II, p. 1455, where it is said that "this constitution was framed by a convention which assembled at Chillicothe, Nov. 1, 1802 . . . It was not submitted to the people for ratification."

Constitution; contained in laws of 50th assembly, Nov. 15, 1852. A copy of this constitution is contained in United States Charters and Constitutions, Part II, p. 1465, where it appears that the same was framed by a convention which assembled at Columbus, May 6, 1850, and adjourned on account of cholera, to reassemble at Cincinnati, Dec. 2. It was submitted to the people and ratified in 1851.
