MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION

For expenses of maintenance and operation

On or before June 15, 1925, the motion picture commission shall file with the governor, the chairman of the senate finance committee and the chairman of the assembly ways and means committee a tentative segregation of the amount hereby appropriated. Before any moneys shall be paid out of this fund, such segregation shall have their approval and no change shall be made in this tentative segregation during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1925, without their approval.

The commissioner of education is authorized to set aside for

teachers' salaries on the several Indian reservations from the appropriation for the support of common schools in lieu of the apportionment provided for by law, the sum of $36,900, as follows: one at $1,800; two at $1,500; one at $1,400; two at $1,300; twenty-two at $950; eight at $900.
